Empowering communities, transforming lives — one child, one family, one community at a time.

Our Story

One Child, One Family,
One Community at a Time

Tuzo Yetu C.B.O. was founded to create lasting change in Kangemi and surrounding informal settlements — protecting and empowering children, youth and women through child protection, mental health support, menstrual and reproductive health awareness, and inclusive community initiatives.

Our Mission

To empower and safeguard children, youth and women in Kangemi and surrounding informal settlements through skills development, mentorship, mental and reproductive health awareness, child protection, and inclusive community initiatives that promote dignity, well-being and climate resilience. We work in partnership with families, schools, local leaders, and child protection structures to ensure no child or survivor is left to navigate harm alone
