At Tuzo Yetu C.B.O, we prioritize mental health as a cornerstone of individual and community resilience. Our Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) program is designed to break stigma and expand access to compassionate, culturally relevant care in Kangemi and neighboring settlements. We set up community wellness hubs offering free counseling services, train adolescent peer counselors to support their peers, and host monthly workshops in schools and youth groups. By nurturing mental wellness from the ground up, we help children and youth develop the emotional strength they need to thrive.
Through community wellness hubs, we offer counseling services, train peer educators, and facilitate monthly youth mental health workshops in schools and groups, ensuring safe, stigma-free spaces for emotional healing and support.
We set up wellness hubs offering free counseling, emotional support, and a safe space to talk, heal, and grow within the heart of Kangemi.
We equip teens with counseling skills to support peers, promote mental health awareness, and foster a strong youth-led care network.
Our monthly workshops teach coping skills, self-awareness, and resilience, reaching hundreds of students and youth group members each year.
